| Commentaire | Dear Professor; I am writing this letter to apply for Ph.D. position at Nantes Université with specific areas of “Physical and numerical modeling of internal erosion in earth hydraulic structures” which is highly related to my research interest area. I hope that I am very sure and confident that I have the skills and qualifications required for this position. I have a strong background in the field of geotechnical engineering specifically have a good understanding in numerical modelling and computational methods, geology, foundation engineering, ground improvement, soil & rock mechanics, and ground mass material testing & characterization ability, having completed my B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree studies in this field. I have also worked as a full time lecturer and material engineer as per-timer in both Mattu University & construction sectors respectively in Ethiopia for several years, which gives me a wealth of experience in the field. I am confident that I can hit the ground running in this role and make a positive contribution to the department. I am excited about the opportunity to work my Ph.D. at Nantes Université under your supervision and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in this field.
